UNDER CONSTRUCTION. The Essex Inn is making some improvements. Therefore- our rooftop pool and parking garage are out of service during this time. Approximate driving time is 25 minutes and the distance is 12 miles. Head North on SR-50/S Cicero Ave. Continue to I-55 and head northbound. I-55 merges with Lake Shore Dr. Continue on Lake Shore Dr and exit at Roosevelt St, turning left onto Roosevelt. Take a right onto Michigan Avenue and proceed to the hotel on the left.

Approximate driving time is 30 minutes and the distance is 20 miles. Head east on I-190. Continue east on I-90/Kennedy Expressway. Next take I-290 east (Eisenhower Expressway) toward Chicago Loop. The Eisenhower Expressway becomes Congress Parkway. Continue east on Congress Parkway. Turn right onto Michigan Avenue and proceed to the hotel on the right.
